Field Visit (2007)

NM 0135 4800 Balephetrish A low denuded mound, which could be prehistoric burial mound, is situated in the field on the opposite side of the track which passes by An Dún at Balephetrish (NM04NW 13). Four struck flint artefacts, including a truncated blade and two sherds of plain prehistoric pottery were found on the ground surface by the track.
