Activities

Field Visit (6 May 2010)

There is a flat-topped mound on gently-sloping ground on the N side of a broad gully S of Mullach a' Lusgan. It measures 6m in diameter and stands up to 0.7m high on the downslope (SW) side. The mound has been crossed by a field dyke now reduced to a line of boulders protruding from the turf. This dyke is one of a series of walls and lynchets defining small rectangular plots in this area, all overlain by later rig and by the drystone dykes enclosing a large rectangular field.
