Orkney Smr Note

Next to the N boundary of New Holland farm are a group of 3 heather covered mounds. The largest is 8m in diameter and 0.9m high. 12m to the NW of this is the second largest, 7m in diameter by 0.5m high. 12m to the S of this is the third and smallestmound, 5m in diameter by 0.5m high. Some stone is visible in the numerous rabbit burrows that pervade the mounds. The triangle between the mounds is waterlogged. A possible Bronze Age barrow cemetery.
