Remains of stone circles exist upon the Hill of Ballunie.

A Jervise 1879

All fields in the area around Ballunie are under cultivation and no traces of the 'stone circles' could be found.

The "Hill of Ballunie" was a building at NO 2653 3897 (OS 6" map, 1865).

Visited by OS (RD) 7 October 1970

No trace of these stone circles was found on the date of visit.

Visited by RCAHMS (JRS) 15 May 1989.
