Five hectare area of disturbed ground situated on the N-facing slope of Meigle Hill, about 289m W of the site of Blindlee tower (NT43NE 6).

Annotated as a 'Rubbish Heap' on the 1st Edition of the OS 6-inch map ((Selkirkshire 1854-62-3, sheet iv), by the date of the 2nd and subsequent OS Editions the feature is annotated as an 'Old Quarry'.
