Kilchousland farmstead is visible on oblique aerial views taken in 2009 (RCAHMSAP 2009) and situated immediately W of the runined church (NR72SE 1).
It is depicted as roofed on the 1st Edition of the OS 6-inch map, (Argyllshire 1869, sheet cclii), which shows a single building, a well and a single enclosure. The current OS digital maps depict a single storey building with extensions, a well and several enclosures.
