Architecture Notes

NR62SE 28.03 centred 66373 22778

The main technical site is situated to the NE of the new control tower (NR62SE 28.01). Within this area is the Motor transport hangar, Motor transport echelon hangar, station workshops, paint and spray shop along with several smaller huts including the Regimental Flight Headquarters, ATC store and three explosives stores.

Many of the buildings are built of brick, but the two motor transport hangars of more recent constuction are metal clad.
