NO20SW 9 226 019

About 1826, a small silver Roman coin was found in the garden attached to Strathendry House by the gardener, Mr Dowrey, and given to Mr Douglas. Mr Dowrey also discovered several holes blackened by smoke, in the ground near where the coin was found. They were destroyed.

No further information.
