Commission And Contract (1963)

A development of three six-storey slab blocks with balcony access and one nine-storey slab block. The blocks constituted part of Temporary Housing Area II at Muirhouse. They were built as public housing by Edinburgh Borough Council. The six-storey blocks contain 75 dwellings in total. The nine-storey block contained 49 dwellings. Construction was approved by committee in 1963. The contractor for the development was Wimpey.

Partial Demolition (1963 - 2009)

The nine-storey block is now demolished. The date of demolition is unknown.
