Commission And Contract (1965)
Five sixteen-storey blocks set in a parkland setting. The blocks comprised the first phase of the Callendar Estate public housing development. Each block contains 84 dwellings over fourteen storeys, making 420 dwellings in total. Some blocks are known to have been built with shops at the first storey level. The blocks were constructed under Falkirk Borough Council. Construction was approved by committee in 1965.The contractors for the development were Crudens Ltd.
