(Scheduling orders 7191, 7192, 7195 and 7196; locations indicated as centred ). The monument comprises enclosures and an area of unenclosed settlement of prehistoric date, visible as cropmarks on oblique aerial photographs. It lies in arable farmland and consists of a variety of features. There are two ring-ditches, measuring between 8m and 10m in diameter. Ring-ditches such as these have been found on excavation to represent the remains of timber roundhouses of later prehistoric date. There are also a number of disc-shaped cropmarks, measuring between 4m and 8m in diameter, and these probably also represent the remains of timber roundhouses. There are a number of rectilinear ditched enclosures and lengths of ditch, and in the SE corner of the field there are two conjoined ditched enclosures, measuring 20m by 20m and 30m by 25m. There are also a number of pits and other cropmarks, which may be expected to represent associated structures.
