NO18NW 12 144 853

Adjacent to main road on knoll, a longhouse, 12m by 4m. In a hollow to the north of the modern cottage, a longhouse, 14m by 5m, bowed at each end and adjacent to head-dyke. On the knoll beside the cottage, a square-ended longhouse, 34m by 6m, and another just to east with 22m-long axis.

A farmstead comprising one partially roofed building, three roofed buildings, one of which is a long building, and one enclosure, and two unroofed buildings, one of which lies approximately 120m to the ENE and the other lies approximately 130m to the SE beside a sheepfold, are depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Aberdeenshire 1869, sheet cvi). Two unroofed buildings, one roofed building and one enclosure are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1971).
