(Location cited as N59 7.3 W5 48.8). North Rona: this major automatic light was constructed in 1984. Its square white tower is 9m high.

The location assigned to this record is unverified, being that of the largest (and most northerly) of the three buildings that are depicted by OS (GIS).
This lighthouse is termed North Rona to differentiate it from that (NG66SW 3.00, at NG 63411 61137) situated to the E of Skye, and termed South Rona.
