Field Visit (20 January 1989)

NO16SW 106 1352 6126

Situated at the rear of a terrace a short distance to the E of the higher of the two tracks at the S end of the valley, and some 780m NNW of Glenkilrie house, there are the remains of what was probably a subrectangular building. The structure measures 7m ENE-WSW by 5m over turf-covered wall-footings and lies immediately to the NW of a late field-system (NO16SW 136); it also lies within an area of small cairns (NO16SW 84) and a few metres SE of a probable burial cairn (NO16SW 87).

Visited by RCAHMS (JRS) 20 January 1989.

RCAHMS 1990.
