This reported wreck is possibly to be equated with that of the River Tay (NM74SW 8008).

The location cited by Whittaker remains unverified, and it is unclear whether the date cited is that of loss or report.

Inninmore Bay is a shallow and ill-defined indentation on the NE side of the Sound of Mull, and extends from NM 70 42 to NM 73 40.
