Field Visit (4 July 1988)
NO16SE 33 1514 6142
Situated on the SE side of a low knoll some 90m SSW of Tomlia cottage, there are the remains of a hut-circle which measures about 10m in diameter within a rear scarp and the edge of a front apron. In places the rear scarp has a boulder face and there is evidence for robbing around the top edge of the apron. On the S side only three boulders of an outer wall-face survive and the original entrance was probably situated in the S arc. What may be the remains of a small rectangular building lie a few metres S of the hut-circle, between it and the former limit of ploughing.
