This motorway interchange is situated immediately E of Hamilton, W of the River Clyde, and S of Strathclyde Loch. It links the M74 and the A723.

Activities

Field Visit (17 November 2016)

The Hamilton Interchange was largely complete when the southbound section of the M74 motorway was opened in 1966, but was not fully completed until 1968 when the northbound section was opened.
