Salmon fishing station on the 2nd edition of the 6-inch OS map (1907) - abandoned, seen only from clifftop.

A timber built shack 7m by 4m by 2m with makeshift oildrum stove and rough sleeping debris built on foundations / concrete base of original fishing station. Original building gone. On rock outcrop at intertidal zone a scaffold platform rusting away. To South a cleared area 6m wide in intertidal zone - possibly a slipway. Shingle beach is accreting in front, scree is eroding to rear.

CFA/MORA Coastal Assessment Survey 1998.
