The exact location of the doocot at Aldbar cannot be found at time of entry, but buildings in the background of the photograph PA 229/7/17/3 suggest it was next to Aldbar Mains rather than Aldbar Castle. According to a note in collection item PA 229/18/59 it was demolished by the farmer in 1971.
