Lade constructed for the powder mill runs N to S on the W side of the site. The lade survives in parts and some sluices were identified.

The lade, depicted as a ditch on current OS 1:2500 scale digital maps, is traceable from NR 95546 71787 where it leaves the Craignafeoch Burn running SW then S. It enters the factory site at c.NR 95616 71279 continues S to pass under the road at NR 95742 70649, returning to the Craignafeoch Burn at NR 95893 70572.

At c. NR 95755 70595 a burn from Ascog Loch joins the lade. The burn has been canalised and was utilised to supply water to the factory.
