Archaeology Notes

NR92NW 78 9406 2594

NR 9406 2594 Stone Setting. The setting comprises three stones with two outliers to the west and a third at a greater distance. No trace of a fourth stone at the main group could be found by visual inspection. The stones are barely 1.0m apart but there are 2.20m between the outermost stones 1 and 3. They vary between 0.50m and 0.80m in height. Site identified during an archaeological survey on Arran and Jura by the ACFA.
