Archaeology Notes

NG53NE 208 5845 3869

NG 5845 3869 Sheilings and Pen (Feature 7). Built below cliffs at about 210m OD are two small sheilings and a pen built under rock.

NG 5851 3860 Twin-celled Sheiling (Feature 8). Situated high above Hallaig under cliffs is a twin-celled sheiling.

Sites identified during an archaeological survey of the townships of Hallaig and An Leac and the surrounding area.
