NJ01NW 44 centred 02963 17106

An area of rig-and-furrow is visible in peaty heather moorland about 850m WSW of Lurg farmsteading (NJ01NW 24) on vertical aerial photographs taken in 1948 (541 (A)/388, prints 3295-6)). The individual rigs appear to measure no more than 5m in width and are aligned roughly NW and SE. The rigs were not visible on the date of visit
