Field Visit (October 1986)

NO14NW 69 118 481

Situated on gently-sloping ground about 70m S of a hut-circle (NO14NW 4), there are the remains of a small ring-cairn. It measures 4m in diameter over a bank which is 1.1m in average thickness and revetted by a graded boulder kerb up to 0.25m high on the SW. The court is irregular on plan, but the SW, SE and NE sides are roughly rectilinear, and the facing-stones are graded with the largest slabs on the SW.
