Archaeology Notes

NH54NE 66 5765 4560

Aligned NW-SE are two lengths of earthen bank. Acute V-shaped in profile each section is 1.5m-2m in height and 2m-3m wide. Emanating from the railway these features are each approximately 30m in length with a 20m break between them. This feature may originate as a 'slip' track dating from the construction of the railway.

CFA/MORA Coastal Assessment Survey, 1998.
