Archaeology Notes

NJ02SE 54 NJ 06727 24223.

The remains of this building are situated on a low grassy rise in peaty moorland 190m NE of Lynemore farmsteading (NJ02SE 14); it lies immediately NW of the farm track that links Lynemore and Aultcharn. Rectangular on plan, the building measures at least 11.4m from NE to SW by 4.4m transversely over walls reduced to low, grass-grown banks, but the NE end and much of the SE side has been removed.

Visited by RCAHMS (JRS) 26 October 2006.
