Archaeology Notes

NJ02SE 51 NJ 07006 21347.

An area of rig-and-furrow is visible on the leading edge of a heather-grown terrace on the otherwise steep SW flank of Sgòr Gaoithe. The area of former cultivation measures about 108m from NW to SE by 28m transversely, and the individual rigs are orientated NE and SW.
