Archaeology Notes (1985)

NO13NW 24 1214 3945.

Cropmarks here are unrelated to temporary camp NO13NW 5.1 and more likely indicate a pre-existing native enclosure.

Activities

Aerial Photographic Interpretation (17 December 1992)

Air photography has recorded the cropmarks of a lobate feature (probably the remains of a building) within the Roman temporary camp NO13NW 5.01. It has formed an oval structure measuring about 26m by 13m internally.

Information from RCAHMS (JRS) 17 December 1992.
