Archaeology Notes

NJ01NE 72 NJ 06883 16451.

This enclosure is situated on a terrace on the S bank of Dorback Burn about 250m SE of Upper Drum farmsteading (NJ01NE 12). D-shaped on plan, with the chord of the D on the NW formed by the leading edge of the terrace, the enclosure is elsewhere defined by a grass-grown stony bank up to 0.5m in height. The enclosure measures 11.5m from NE to SW by 7.5m internally.
