Recording Your Heritage Online

Perched above the Spean on the edge of the village stands a good group marred only by some recent flat-roofed extensions: the pretty, spireletted gothic Kilmonivaig Parish Church, 1812 , altered by Alexander Ross, 1891; chancel and vestry added by J. Jeffrey Waddell, 1928; pair of stained glass windows by Gordon Webster 1967. Kilmonivaig School, Alexander Ross, 1860 (closed 2002) and Schoolhouse, J. G. Falconer, 1912 .

Taken from "Western Seaboard: An Illustrated Architectural Guide", by Mary Miers, 2008. Published by the Rutland Press http://www.rias.org.uk
