NO46SE 62 NO 4890 6257

This barrow is situated on a terrace on a SE facing hillside to the ENE of Balquharn and has been recorded as cropmarks on oblique aerial photographs (RCAHMSAP 2005). The barrow measures about 8m in diameter within a broad ditch and there is a central burial pit. Rig, which is aligned from NW to SE across the terrace, is visible in parts of the field.
