Cast Iron bridge over Back Lane and track to former A6091 to the S. Wooden decking and sandstone abutments with string course on both sides. Upper works are of brick with evidence of repairs in brick. Quoins at the corners of the abutments. Round headed rivets on the girders.. Metal handrails on both sides of the trackbed.
Now forms part of the cycleway from Melrose.
