Wick, 4th Sept. The following reports has been received from the Island of Stroma, Portland [Pentland]: - Washed ashore on Stroma, 31st Aug., part of a vessel's stern, much broken, first letter on which was 'H' or 'M', second 'N', third either 'D', 'B', or 'R'. The letters were broken across.

NMRS, MS/829/72 (no. 11484).

(No classification or cargo specified: date cited as 31 August 1868). Unknown: this vessel was wrecked on Stroma.

(Location of loss cited as N58 40.5 W3 8.0).
