In 1921 Mr Roy donated a collection of flints from Kirkton of Mailer (NO 10902005) to Perth Museum. These included:- Museum No. 2002: Flint scraper 2 15/16" long and chipped at thickest edge.
No.2003 Double-edged scraper or unfinished arrow-head, 1 5/8" long. No.2004: Scraper, with chipping on one egde 1 1/4" long.
No. 2005: Unfinished arrow-head, 1 3/8" long. No. 2006: Imperfect arrow-head 1 1/2" long.
No. 2007: Leaf-shaped arrow-head 1 1/8" long.
No's 2008, 2009, 2010: Three tapering, tanged and barbed arrowheads. Average length 1 1/4".
No. 2011: Tanged and Barbed arrow-head 11/16" long.
No. 2012: Perforated stone, 2 5/8" long.
Angillaceous sandstone.

Of the objects listed by J G Callander (1918) and J Asher (1923) only No.2002 is not in Perth Museum. The accession number of each of the others is correct. No further information.

The accession numbers of this collection of flint implements in Perth Museum are PMAG: 2002-2001 & 2028. Only the perforated stone (PMAG: 2012) cannot be identified in the collections.
