Nothing is visible of what was probably a cottage, which stood at the edge of what is now a cultivated field 40m W of Burnside Cottage. The cottage, which stood on the W side of a small garden, is shown roofed on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Inverness-shire 1874, sheet XLVIA) and unroofed on the 2nd edition of the map (1902, sheet XLVIA).
