Tower [NAT]

OS (GIS) AIB, September 2006.

This brick obelisk is named after a pilot who kept watch in bad weather from the N Pier (NJ90NE 7.02) in the mid 19th century. Despite its name, it is not a monument, but a ventilator shaft for a disused sewer that emptied into the navigation channel.

Aberdeen City Council [2006].
