A cannon is mounted on a replica carriage adjacent to the main entrance to the Shetland Hotel (HU44SE 270.00). An adjacent wall-mounted plaque notes:

'Cannon from the Dutch East India Vessel "De Haan" sunk by Spanish privateers in Lerwick Harbour on 13th June, 1640. Retrieved from the harbour by John Robertson, diver, 25 Ronald Street, Lerwick in February 1922.
