Archaeology Notes

NN89SW 7 NN 8466 9317

The remains of a building, possibly a shooting hut or holiday hut, were recorded here by a field survey in the Upper Glen Feshie area in Highland by the North of Scotland Archaeological Society. Only the stone chimney and fire place survives, which appears to have been the only stone part of the building, with the rest constructed of timber. The surviving stonework has been re-mortared to preserve it and make it safe.
