The bomb or munitions store is situated on the E side of Catherinefield Road on N part of Downs Moss. The surviving remains consist of a square building within earth blast walls and one further building which has had the earth walls removed. A further building, possibly for small arms ammunition is at NY 00730 78822 with a zig-zag blast wall. The remains are shown on the current OS 1:2500 scale digital map.
The area is visible on vertical air photographs (106G/UK 1314, 5011-5012, flown 27 March 1946 and RAF WW II mages (FNO 158, 6.5 and 6.12, flown 26 September 1942).
