Weir [NAT]

OS (GIS) AIB, April 2006.

This weir spans the River Peffery to the E of Peter's Bridge (NH55NW 182) and within the SW side of the town of Dingwall (NH55NE 22). It may have formed the upper limit of the Dingwall Canal (NH55NE 24.00).

The location assigned to this record defines the midpoint of the structure. The available map evidence suggests that it extends from NH c. 55002 59098 to NH c. 54996 59079.

Information from RCAHMS (RJCM), 5 April 2006.
