The probable remains of a stone circle are situated in the field called the 'Licher-Stanes', situated between the Parish Church (NO 189 164) and Innernethy (NO 187 176 on OS 1st ed., map), and within a quarter of a mile from the church.

There are no visible remains of a stone circle in any of the fields between the site of Innernethy (NO11NE 61) and Abernethy village (NO11NE 95).
