(Noted as Queensferry, inshore lifeboat station). An inshore lifeboat station was established at [South] Queensferry in 1967, initially in a converted tollhouse. The present building was constructed (on the same site) in 1967, and was extended in 1998. The boat is launched down the old ferry slipway.
