Tomdoun Formerly an important droving stance on Telford's Invergarry-Kinlochhourn road (c.1803- 12 ), from whence the busy 'road to the isles' branched northwards to Cluanie (this route was later cut off with the flooding of Loch Loyne, though its bridge is still seen at low water).
