Insh Farm

Insh, 18th century One of the few tacksman's houses in the area to escape destruction in 1746 (it stood on the wrong side of the river, on the powerful Duke of Gordon's land). Typical of its genre, it comprises two plain storeys of three widelyspaced bays, the porch and rear block being later additions. For more on tacksmen.
