Glasgow Science Centre

Two striking titanium-clad geometric buildings, Imax Cinema and Science Centre, 1995, Building Design Partnership

Competition-winning scheme includes space-framed Imax, cantilevering slightly towards canting basin. Science Centre, a bi-directional, diagonal span, tilted D-section, of 11,500 square metres (28,500 square feet) on four floors, fully glazed north face overlooks river.
