Archaeology Notes

NO77NE 63.03 75261 77796, 75534 77796 and 75120 77797

An area on the N side of the airfield with, a blister hangar, three dispersal pens and some huts is visible on vertical air photographs (106G/Scot/UK 62, 4335-4336, flown 8 May 1946).

The two dispersal pens (bays) survive, but the blister hangar would appear to have been removed as it is not depicted on the current OS 1:2500 scale digital map.

Information from RCAHMS (DE), November 2005
