Archaeology Notes

NG53NE 5599 3517 (centred)

The foundations of an oval structure measuring 8.1m x 5m externally were recorded here during a field survey of the Suisnish area of Raasay by ACFA, who have conducted surveys on the island every year since 1995. The grass and turf covered walls now only survive to a maximum height of 0.4m. The S wall appears to have had a 0.9m wide entrance.
