The remains of this farmstead are situated immediately NE of an improved field on the SW flank of Whitefield Hill. It comprises three buildings and partly lies within an enclosure which forms part of a more extensive system of field banks on the hillside. The walls of the buildings have been reduced to little more than stony banks about 1.2m in thickness by a maximum of 0.3m in height.
Two of the buildings are aligned from NW to SE. The NE one measures 21.7m by 5.7m overall and has two compartments. The other lies 7m to the SW and measures 15.7m by 4.8m overall. It has a small compartment at its NW end and its wall is studded with large boulders, presumably grounders. There are traces of a small yard immediately SW of the building.
The SE end of the yard is formed by a third building which is aligned E and W and measures 9m by 5m overall.
