Crionach, Ian Begg, 2003 New house overlooking Loch Snizort, reminiscent of a traditional L-plan laird's house. It is harled and slated, but flouts convention in turning the main entrance and stair-tower away from the re-entrant angle, where instead a full-height window frames the Cuillin. Inside, the drawing room is panelled with a thistle frieze, and floors have Caithness stone flags.
