Situated on a poorly-drained, SW-facing slope some 360m ENE of Castle Pirnie cottage, there are the remains of a three-compartment building with an enclosure at its NW corner. It measures about 10m NNE-SSW by 4m over low turf-covered wall-footings (up to 1.2m thick and 0.3m high), and an entrance to the central compartment is visible on the W.

Visited by RCAHMS (JRS) 19 January 1989.

RCAHMS 1990.
